Okay… so, yes, it is true… The 5 ratings I have ever given are less than 1% of all the restaurants Ive reviewed. Is this a true 5? It is certainly close! My judgement might be clouded by the joy of knowing that when I get homesick for my Northern South American friends and family, I have a place to go and eat some real comfort food! The Gallo Pinto, Lomo Saltiado, house-made tortillas, Pupusas, and the wonderful breakfast choices bring great comfort and joy! Fort Smith is so blessed to have this little gem! Thank you, Las Americas for the wonderful eclectic Americas variety which you deliver with such quality and authenticity. You enrich my life!
Lots of mixed reviews on this restaurant, but I loved it! The restaurant is pretty small and it was packed for lunch. I asked the waiter to bring me a hot salsa, both varieties were very good. My daughter really enjoyed the cheese dip and refried beans. I sampled three different kinds of pupusa – pork and cheese, jalapeno and cheese, and pork with cheese and beans. All were very good, but the pork with beans was probably my favorite. Then I had the beef fajitas and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was quick and prompt. I will definitely be going back when I’m in Fort Smith.
