Loved this place! In a town full of cookie cutter Mexican restaurants this one stands out in every category, pork fajitas are highly recommended

Great prices, some of their dishes are good, others are average, but for the price you can’t go wrong. Service was really good and fast even when busy. The spicy salsa is one of the best I’ve had. Unless you’re looking for expensive gourmet Mexican food choose Maria’s.

Gross.. The beef was over cooked, super greasy, and their fried ice cream sucked. Everything about it just sucked. Never coming back.

Not great, but not bad. It’s worth trying, but there is better Mexican just down the road.

Close Enough to the Real Thing. Being a Texas native, Mexican food runs in my blood and my boyfriend and I have scoured the town for something that even come close to decent. Maria’s has become that place for us. The service is attentive and friendly, even if they forgot to mention the salsa comes in tomato sauce or scalding (mixing the two creates some of the best salsa in town and the waitress was more than happy to bring us some mixed), and the food came out extremely fast. The food is cheap and either exceptionally good or run of the mill. I’ve never had anything bland or bad here and I would recommend the #13 Chicken tacos to anyone looking for some good authentic food. The only thing I didn’t like about the entire meal was the Horchata, which tasted powdery. Overall, this is a place I can take my Texas relatives and not be ashamed, unlike other more popular Mexican restaurants in the area. It’s good food for a good price and close enough to the real thing to sooth my Tex-Mex cravings.

Great value. We have gone to Maria’s 3-4 times a month for the last 3 years and have always enjoyed our food. We’ve tried many different dishes and have liked them all. When we ask for special preparations or changes to our order we almost always get exactly what we’ve asked for. One of my favorite dishes is the Mexicano Burrito. It’s huge and covered with three sauces to replicate the Mexican flag. Don’t go for the atmosphere, it’s pretty bad, but the service has always been great. It can get awfully crowded and there’s little room to stand and wait for a table, but if you time it just right you will be seated quickly.
