This place is amazing! From the friendly service, to the big portions, to the excellent food… This place is great! My staple is the lamb plate. The owners had a food truck business that was doing very well, and took their food truck offerings into a building with weather proof seating. I’d say it is a big success! They have kept the food truck energy and flair: and the food quality has remained consistently high.
I grew up way outside Chicago and we had great Gyros! (say YEE-ros) Paizi’s is the best I’ve had since then, great flavor, all the components. I’ve only had their lamb gyro and fries. My complaint is the food is just not hot enough. They pre cook everything and put it in warming pans. Sure it makes for faster service, but maybe the warmers aren’t hot enough. No one wants lukewarm meat and fries, especially since this isn’t a food truck anymore.

If you haven’t been what are you waiting on? Sure, the location isn’t the best. But so what. The food is amazing and always has been. GO!! It’s worth the small inconvenience of location.
Paizis’ recently replaced a Pho restaurant on this site. The new spot offers a big, clean dining area and all the food is prepared in front of you. There’s a nice selection of gyros, sandwiches and salads, all with a Greek flair. I had the chicken gyro sandwich and it was very good. Lots of new places have gone up in Ft. Smith recently, so give this one a try next time you’re down by the mall.1/12/16: I always stop here when I’m in town. Love the music they play! Love the attentiveness of the servers; and truly love the quality and taste of the food! Gyros and salads-you can’t go wrong. The Greek salad with Chicken was fantastic!
