Diamond in the rough. Wow, the new owners of Repetes have really turned things around with this place in a spectacular way. The service is excellent with waiters & waitresses providing friendly and helpful recommendations while never letting your glass get too low. The food is outstanding. Their chef is a true prize with a real passion for proving his name, Brad Meyers. I had heard that they won the Taste of Fort Smith award & had to try it for myself. Totally not disappointed. I’ve been coming back ever since. Kudos & cheers.

Surprisingly great food! From the prime rib to the turkey dinner it’s been good everytime! Generous helpings and friendly staff round off the dining experience.
Loved the tamale spread; good being back in my old hometown and having a great lunch with an ice cold beer
Not for the better!. I recently ate at Re-petes, about two weeks ago. It was a Friday night and they were ALL over the place. They had a server in training that was picking up the others slack. I ordered the classic country fried chicken and it wasnt even cooked all the way. My wife ordered a re pete philly (hold peppers) and they didnt hold them. Our food took forever to fix. We didnt have the same server, it was a rotation of 3 different girls. If your like me i like the same server who knows our drinks, meals, etc. Our glasses stayed empty, and we ordered pie, never got it. I am a long time customer and I WILL not be back. Our server (a blonde) didnt even ask us if we wanted it take it home. She was very rude. We miss the old re-petes with the old menu!!!
Last night I had the best prime rib in town. It was an herb crusted large cut that was cooked to perfection and came with a red wine mushroom au jus, Parmesan whipped potatoes, and grilled vegetables. It’s one of their Friday night specials. My wife loved the fish tacos. They were grilled tilapia tacos with a sweet chili corn relish and avocado poblano chutney. Delicious!!! Our table also enjoyed the appetizer sampler which included a cream cheese stuffed fried jalapeo, fried green tomato, deviled egg, and a KC BBQ glazed pork wing. My favorite was the pork wing. We had excellent service and we’re really glad to see Chef Brad back at Re-Pete’s.
Ordinary to Extraordinary. Wow, this used to be an average meal, a safe bet. However, they’re turning it up a notch. They’ve somehow hired the chef from Hardscrabble and become anything but average. About two weeks ago, I tried their special, Chicken Chimichanga and it was excellent. So, I went back and got an out of sight lemon pepper tilapia, also a daily special. This week I had blackened catfish but the show stopper was the fried green tomatoes that came with it. I hope this chef stays put. Re-Pete’s Place needs to fill the potholes in the driveway and put something on the walls. They are bare and it would help the atmosphere.
