The pickles and green tomatoes are amazing and free. Staff is always somewhat pleasant and service medium paced/decent. Breakfast/brunch and sandwiches are some of the best in town. Great place to eat in the River Valley if you’ve got a little time to kill. Try the Stacy or Salmon eggs Benedict.
Nice clean place to eat. I have eaten at River City a few times, and each time the food was spot on. The sandwiches are great, and the Matzo ball soup is delicious. The servers are very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. The price is a little higher than I like to pay for a sandwich, but the food is very good. The restaurant is extremely clean and always feels welcoming. I recommend for anyone looking for a nice local deli with friendly service and cleanliness.Also, to try something differently, get the potato latkes, they are delicious. I will be back.
First time here. I had the Turkey Devonshire and it was excellent. The pickled green tomatoes are a great touch as well. I will be back!
I have been here several times and I must say I do like it. This place is a wonderful change to Fort smith, BUT it is nothing like a New York style deli…..I lived in NY my entire life and this is nothing like you would get there.
Stopped by on our way through to Nashville and SO happy we did!!! New Yorker, Reuben, chicken walnut salad….AHHHMAZING! Cheesecake and ice cream sandwich delicious!!
The staff and the food are wonderful!! Try fine dining night and the wonderful brunch menu!! Over all yummy!!
