Yummy!. We had the goat cheese quesadillas and the shrimp sauteed with lime juice. We also had guacamole and margaritas. Everything was very good, including the service. I did feel though, that our bill should have been about half of what it was. Also, the orange tostadas that they stick in every dish are weird and unnecessary. My husband said they tasted stale, and I just thought that they got in the way.
After moving from a big city to Ft Smith I found it difficult to find decent food. Rolado’s is hands down the best restaurant in Ft. Smith. The food is amazing!
If you don’t try Rolando’s, their is something wrong with you.. While traveling through Ft. Smith on a sunday, i was delighted to find this restaurant not only open but delicious. The presentation is amazing, i mean really pretty plates. We ( my wife and I ) split the sampler platter and that was more than enough food for both of us. It had tamale’s, shrimp wraps? the whole nine yards. Wait staff was quick and very polite, restaurant was very clean and you can almost hear a pin drop due to everyone so focused on their meals rather than the standard iPhone!! If you don’t stop by and try this place out, there is something wrong with you.
It was delightful, we had enchiladas, quesadillas, and tamales….we all licked our plates clean. I’ve never eaten beans and rice before at a Mexican restaurant due to the lifeless flavor, Orlando’s South American style black beans and rice is a treat, not to mention the garnish of fresh veggies in a sweet vinaigrette. I would come back next time I’m in town. The only negative is the chips taste sorta like they just came out of the bag from the grocery store. Now for dessert……
My boyfriend and I ate here for New Year’s Eve. The food was amazing and I always say try the guacamole. Mixed just before it comes to the table. Fresh chips always. We had pork and chicken dishes. Left overs were still spot on the next day. 5 stars and well worth it.
Poor Service. Although the food was good, the prices were a bit high and the service was terrible. There were six people in our party, celebrating my son’s birthday, so they automatically added an 18% gratuity. The waitress was not attentive and rude when she did interact with us. I guess she knew she’d get her tip regardless, so it wasn’t necessary to offer good service. We won’t be back.
Always great. I have yet to have a bad meal at Rolandos. I just wish I didn’t love the popeyes burrito so much, so I would be willing to explore the menu more. However my wife does explore and everything from the josefina tamales to the quesadilla (sorry don’t recall its specific name) have been great. They make a great margarita and the service is good. It is consistently the place we take out of town guests to wow them about Fort Smith.
