Village Inn has two things going…. Good pie and good breakfast. The rest of the menu, in my opinion, is nothing special. The service is ALWAYS prompt, friendly, professional, relaxed and fun. I really enjoy meeting colleagues or friends here for an early morning breakfast or late-night pie and coffee.

Very pleasantly surprised. 10pm on a Sunday night and the Shepherd’s Pie was outstanding with yummy baked mashed potatoes topping fresh carrots and yummy pot roast. Quick service and good food. The low score this place has, is unbecoming of the experience I had.

?????. We don’t often go to Village Inn and after todays lunch I remember why. Ordered Chicken Noodle soup and when it came there were three noodles and one piece of chicken. It should be called chicken broth. Ordered ham and swiss sandwich and asked that it be grilled. It came on toast and ham and cheese was cold. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

Sit down fast food. Apparently village Inn has decided to focus on breakfast. My wife and I went for dinner and I was astonished to see that the menu is now mostly sandwiches, breakfast, pies, a couple of salads and very full actual dinner type meals. Most of the meals are frozen microwave fare like chicken fingers. Apparently they have stopped cooking. I had the Ultimate Skillet breakfast which was pretty good but they have cut the size to a saucer rather than a skillet. All in all, not very impressive.
