This is the best place in Fort Smith to get barbecue. I LOVE their potato salad and every meat I’ve tried is amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat and I never get to eat here enough.
Good solid barbecue. The loaded potato is good, but the burnt ends are fantastic! I’ve eaten here many times and have never disliked it. My only negative is the brisket and sides are average and nothing to write home about. But to finish the meal off The cobbler is tasty!
I really wanted to like the food. So I’m gonna start with the good. Potato Salad is one of the best! #6 Sauce was good on pork. #3 Sauce was the greatest! Ribs where ok. Now the service was not there. All the meat was warm, not hot. Cole slaw had spoiled, salad was wilted and turning brown. And the brisket was terrible. Even with the awesome sauce, terrible. I always make happy plates and I could not finish it. I know every place has bad days but my experience was a whole lot of bad.
Bad to the Bone. Mediocre would be a vast improvement. Everything about this place was bland and dry: the service, the beef, the sides, and the dessert.
Bad to the Bone. Everything about this restaurant is bad. The service, the dried beef had no smoked flavor, and the sides were not homemade. The salad was wilted with a packet of store bought dressing. All round poor experience. Stay away!
Priced Too High. I ate here with my parents last Saturday and for the brisket platter, which is a sandwich and two sides, is 11.99 plus your drink. The brisket was not warm, the beans portion was too small and while the potato salad is wonderful it does not justify 11.99 in my book. I could have had the same meal at another BBQ place for 8.00.
I have eaten at most every BBQ place in Fort Smith and this one is one of my favorites. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it had a good consistency and a good smoke flavor. I also had the ribs and they were lacking with not much meat on them. I have also tried the BBQ baked potato and this thing is excellent! The BBQ sauce is sensational and has 6 different flavors. Totally recommend this place.
