WEIGH YOUR MEAT! If you order meat by the pound, make sure you weigh it. My weight has been under by an ounce at least twice. Most recently, I ordered a pound of beef brisket, and weighed it on my digital scale. It weighed 14.8 ounces and that is with the packaging.
