Save Your Money–Terrible. We were with a group of friends on a dinner cruise last week and the only pleasure enjoyed on this tub was our group of friends. Most of us ordered prime rib, well in advance of the cruise, and that piece of fat with a few bites of meat was served with a baked potato, slab of sour cream, horrible green beans, and something resembling apple dumpling for dessert. The hot rolls were OK, but for the cost of this meal, real butter would have brought the meal a higher rating. The ladies room was deplorable, and the servers, though friendly enough, rate a huge negative for smoking on deck while the customers were enjoying the view. Dinner cruises can be entertaining and provide far higher quality food. Check the Branson Belle in Branson, MO.

I liked it for what it was. If you take it for what it is….a paddlewheel boat cruising around a beautiful lake at sunset…it is great…who goes on these for 5 star cuisine. It is pricey but (depending on who your with) it is romantic, nostalgic, imagining yourself cruising down the Mississippi…a Huck Finn moment…well you get the picture.
A great tour. We were amazed at all the beauty on Lake Hamilton, and the Belle is a great way to enjoy it. Very nice, we highly recommend it.

Terrible waste of money. Boat set sail 25 minutes late. Food was ok. The boat is in desperate need of repair. Dining area and restrooms were dirty. Waitstaff was so so. Not at all the romantic dinner cruise described.
Bland food on an old boat. Go, if – and only if – you’re an antique boat lover; you’ll think it’s the greatest….Otherwise, go pick up one of those rotisserie chickens from WalMart, drive thru Popeyes and pick up some sides (don’t forget the biscuits), and download a movie from NetFlix. You’ll get the same entertainment value for about 1/6th of the cost, and be much happier.
