Upon arrival, a few harmless drunk yokels tried messing with us on the way into the bar and the bartender took way too long to greet us and take our order, but other than that, the experience was great and I would definitely go back. Fair prices, super friendly bartenders, really quality live music, nice friendly crowd that kept to themselves, strong drinks, and 2 separate rooms for smokers and nonsmokers (which I feel is only fair to everyone), super clean bathrooms, and lots of space with multiple different types of seating. The Best bar in Hot Springs! I have been coming here since they opened. Gina has expanded by adding the VERY best NON-smoking room in the area. It is all cedar lined, so you don’t smell like smoke after u leave. I’m a non smoker and it’s very hard for me to go out anymore, but I can stay all night at the Chill. GREAT place to hangout and listen to music. Gina supports several varieties of music, so u never know what you’ll hear, but it’s all good, for sure. The guys that have given this place a bad review, don’t know what they are talking about. It’s the Best!!!! Check it out and make up your own mind.
One of our favorite Hot Springs hangouts. The manager, David, is one of the coolest guys you’ll ever meet (and I’m not just saying that bcz we’re all from Louisiana)! Great drinks, good music, friendly people… what more can you ask for?!?!?
Big chill is not warm to patrion. Crowded, smoke filled, no dance floor. Don’t see how they get this one past the fire Marshal. Employees must be writing their positive reviews. Don’t stand in the wrong place. The bipolar manager/owner? will physically throw you out. Ask the 60 something y.o. guy he went off on Sat night. I got it on video. Law suit waiting to happen.
The Big Chill is Hot Springs Finest night spot. You can’t say you are a local if you don’t make this one of your frequently visited spots. Gina and the staff make you feel like you are in their home….A must visit Hot Springs NightSpot
