Reading several of the reviews, it seems that this place has had its ups and downs maybe. I have been wanting to try The Bleu Monkey for several years but my trips to HS have just not worked out until today. The restaurant has a bit of a Bar feel to it with fairly loud music. It is clean and inviting and well decorated. The service was prompt and professional. I started with the bread and pesto which was very good. I then had the fish tacos with rice and black beans. The sides were ok as was the fish. There was a heavy sauce on the fish that was a little too strong. I would have liked to had more seasoning on all of the items. It was more food than I could eat for lunch and was surprised how inexpensive it all was. Not a bad spot for a casual meal.
