Pros: Located in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas the Colorado Grill is a pleasant find for folks looking for really good Tex Mex. You will find that there’s not much parking out front but if you turn at the first street on the right and make your way around the block there’s a parking lot behind the restaurant. The atmosphere is somewhat loud if there’s a full house but there’s tv’s that you can watch sporting events on. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I ordered their Blanco cheese dip to eat with the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa that was provided upon being seated. The dip was thick but just the right mix not watered down like many other restaurants, it had a rich flavor that made it hard to stay out of before spoiling my dinner. For dinner I ordered the Bronco Burrito it is large, filled with beef or chicken I chose seasoned beef, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese and then topped with yellow queso, with sour cream on the side. I took some of my Blanco cheese dip and added it to the top of my burrito before adding sour cream, it was delicious! The meal also came with retried beans that were of a thinner consistency packed with flavor and Mexican rice also exceptional in the flavor. If the Colorado Grill was located in Tulsa, Ok. It would be one of my favorite Mexican food hangouts. Great Tex Mex/ Mexican check it out if your passing through Hot Springs.
