Dissappointing :(. Had the Red Velvet Cupcake (red velvet is my favorite cake). The icing was a home-made vanilla bean; it was delicious. The cupcakes are all beautifully designed. They LOOK delicious. But the cake was dry…which I was especially surprised being as it was STILL WARM from the oven! That’s right. It JUST came out the oven..and it’s dry??? Um….what??! And it didn’t even taste like red velvet….tasted like burnt cheap chocolate cake. Uh…such a let down.. 🙁
The cupcakes are pretty, people are nice… cupcakes are just soooo dry!!!!! after having cupcakes on Kavanaugh in Little rock, I was so disappointed with fat bottomed girls. they need a new recipe stat!
Cupcakes..mmmm!. Delicious cupcakes..maybe a little pricey but still worth it. Get there early because they have a limited selection..and when they’re out…they’re out!
Meh. I love the idea. But the product, not so much. Your mouth with water looking at the case of cupcakes. They’re gorgeous pieces of art. The flavor combos sound so amazing! (Hello, lavender lemon.) But the three times I’ve had cupcakes from FBG, the cakes have been the texture of cardboard. Way too dry; stale even. It’s a shame because I’m sure the fresh cupcakes taste fabulous.
Cake and Icing Dry… How old are these things?. We bought a six pack of different flavors. The cake was horribly dry and the icing was hard and crunchy on all of them. It’s like they were sitting out for DAYS. I didn’t even finish one, and we threw the rest away. Almost 20 bucks wasted, and all the time finding parking and walking to the shop wasted too. Generic out dated Kroger bakery cupcakes from the clearance rack are better than these. Seriously… what?
