Service was horrendous but food was good. We arrived late for our reservations but they kindly seated us after a scolding. No menus were given and the waitress asked if we’d like an appetizer. We said we would but we’ve not seen the menu. The calamari appetizer was very good. The waitress was not polished and should be working fast food. I would try to get her attention but could not do so without lifting my hand or waving at her. It took 25 minutes to receive our drinks. We received our meal after 45 minutes. One person at our table received wine in a high ball glass because there were no clean glasses., the food was good but I expected better because of the restaurants reputation. The server presented a customer comment card and asked we not put anything negative.
Pleasantly surprised. Went here based on reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. The bruschetta was among the best I have ever had, and both of our entrees were great. I had the scallops and my husband had Fettuccine Alfredo. He did say that the chicken that he added was a little overdone, but the sauce had a great flavor. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Would definitely recommend.

Poor flavor gracious staff over priced great band. My husband and I recently chose j&s villa for our anniversery anticipating excellent italian food but experienced over priced angel hair pasta with chewy scallops sitting in garlic flavored water. I have never been disappointed enough to write a review before in all the times I have experienced poor entrees. I felt due to the over the top price and food not even as tasty as a frozen italian dinner needs to be sharedI with others. The staff was gracious and the band excellent but the food awful.
Very disappointed. We where there also on2/15/14. Waited forever, we were visitors to the area. The food was disappointing,especially for the price. Really wanted Italian it so our favorite. Just was not a good experience. Will visit area again but won’t go there again. Sorry.
Awful. We went there Saturday nite 2/15 and waited 2 hours to get our food and when we got it..it was cold! We had heard MANY good things about this place and was highly dissappointed! Will not be back!
Best Italian. Food is inconsistent, but often fabulous. The shrimp appetizer is the BOMB…. Service is always good.
