If you’re looking for REAL Mexican food –not that TexMex crap we’ve all gotten used to– Las Americas is the place to go. THIS is what food tastes like in Mexico!
Perfecto!. This no doubt is the best, most, most affordable, most authentic Mexican food here and for many miles from here!True comfort food and so fresh & tasty!, I’m from southern CA & this brings me home, the chilaquilas for breakfast are delicious!, the shrimp ceviche tostadas with the extra helping of fresh avocado are so, so good!, it’s our family favorite. Just close your eyes and point to anything on the menu, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Very good authentic Mexican! We had a group of six and all enjoyed. If Tex-Mex is your thing, shop else where, but I recommend this to any one.
One of the best authentic mex restaurants in hot springs.truly a hidden gem. ALSO THE ONLY PLACE IN HOT SPRINGS WHERE YOU CAN PURCHASE MARINATED CARNE ASADA TO COOK OR GRILL AT HOME.
Great authentic Mexican food. Notice I said AUTHENTIC. I think it’s fair to say that the people that voted against this place are used to the usual tex mex that you can find everywhere else in town. If you’re idea of mexican food is ground beef covered in cheese dip, then go else where. Viva Las Americas! Also, for dessert I recommend going to Nom Noms right up the road where they have HOMEMADE paletas (mexican ice cream bars) and 56 other favors of homemade ice cream, as well as some Mexican fare of their own.
Excellent and Authentic. Wonderful authentic Mexican food in this very casual environment. Try the barbacoa – I crave it!
