Always a great choice!. We are from Texas and were in town on a couples getaway. McAllister’s is always a favorite at home. Stopped here for lunch and as always McAllister’s delivered. Great happy service. Prompt and accurate. And the tea is to die for.
Great soup ……bland sandwich. We stopped in on Monday 6/16/2014 for lunch after my doctors appointment my wife ordered the broccoli cheddar soup in the bread bowl the soup was good not as good as Hamburger Barn in Arkadelphia but still good but i was surprised the bread bowl was not sourdough but still good i ordered the half roast beef with horseradish and a cup of the broccoli cheddar soup the roast beef was bland and they only put a tiny amount of horseradish on it and when i say it was bland it was a napkin would have had more flavor than this im thankful fir the side of horseradish the sweet tea was good but if you do not like your tea really sweet don’t order it over all the place was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful im not sure what happened with the sandwiches but i have gotten two bad ones so im not sure i will be ordering one again ……..
McAlistar’s / Newk’s. Well it’s the same people who started the other. McAlistar’s first, then Newk’s – basically the same with Newk’s just a step up the stairs. Makes sense McAlistar’s is just so-so, started in a college town. Can’t find anything truly to praise about either one.
Not a fan. I am not sure if it is the food.. or the concept of standing in line to order and then having them look for your table, but it’s just not my place. It’s a chain deli and not much more.
Umm, no.. Great tea. …That’s about it.
