This place has been a personal favorite of mine since 1989. I love tender smoked ribs. I order them dry, then dip them in a blend of their tangy acidic signature barbecue sauce and their pepper sauce. My standard sides are slaw and fries. The slaw is finely chopped, not over dressed, and made with a good amount of celery seed. The fries are old-school, fresh cut, fried potatoes russets Im guessing. Now, when you are ready for a yum-filled piled-high plate of goodness and have plenty of antacids, get that big tamale plate. As seldom as I get to go anymore, I normally stick to my one pound of ribs with fries and slaw.
