A classic for 76 years, this Hot Springs standard serves up a dependable breakfast with housemade sausage, apple butter and the hottest coffee on Central Avenue. If you have never been, do not start with more than one pancake. They are huge, plate-size monstrosities that give new meaning to stick-to-your-ribs. Great place for tips on where to go and what to do. Restaurant closes at 12:45 p.m. tiedyetravels.com
Great breakfast, very accommodating! Very friendly staff! Had buckwheat and regular pancakes, omelettes, and it was all very good! We will be back, the wait wasn’t long… We waited until around 12 PM to go!
Ordinary breakfast. Basic menu. Wait was way too long and longer than predicted. If we had known what we would get, we would have kept walking.
Great diner atmosphere with endless cups of great coffee! Both the blueberry & buckwheat pancakes were awesome, but the homemade sausage patties were so VERY good!
Fills the stomach. If your staying at the Arlington and your starving then you can fill up here, I think that’s enough said.
This little joint sent us right down memory lane, leaving us nostalgic, happy, and satisfied. We went in just needing a place to get dry, warm up with a cup of coffee, and we thrill as we stepped through the door and were thrust back in time. The diner was full and buzzing, the host was bright, and food smelled amazing. I loved every detail of the place, including the old laminated menus. Because I had already eaten I just ordered a glass of tomato juice along with the coffee. My partner couldn’t resist ordering food, he got the special (it’s a permanent fixture on the menu) every thing was perfection. I wish I had been hungry enough to eat more than a bite! Our server was on top of things, friendly, and gave us good suggestions of places to try. Loved it!
If you love breakfast food, GO!. Best Grits I’ve had next to my mom’s. Amazing blueberry pancakes made with delicious fresh blueberries. They churn their own butter; it’s so smooth and delicious! They make their own Apple butter; it’s surprisingly addictive. And the sausage is OMG delicious!
