This is a great family fun place to eat! This place is great for the entire family and the food is great. We go eat here every time we are in Hot Springs. It is a must do when in town.
Average food. I been twice and both times the service was slow and the food was average. The decor is nice and the ice cream is alright, but there are much better burgers in town.
My mother and I went recently and enjoyed it very much. I had a burger and it was great. She had the sample platter and the fried pickles and the fried mushrooms were really good. We each had a scoop of the purple vanilla ice cream for dessert which was really cute. The only thing I was unhappy about was how much toppings were for the burger. $1.50 to change chips to fries. And $.75 just to add mushrooms. And over 2 dollars to change to fried pickles. But overall a great experience!
Best place for a fun sit down meal with the family.
Kids love it, adults can take it or leave it….. I’m fascinated by my kids’ fascination with Purple Cow. Because they like it so much, we go there once or twice a month as a reward to them. Other critics have it about right- most of the entrees aren’t particularly good or bad. I personally wouldn’t stray from the burgers, dogs, and chicken strips when ordering. I agree that they are a tad overpriced.
Overpriced. We recently ate dinner here….burgers, fries, milkshakes and chicken strips. The food was just okay. The chicken strips were great, although they forgot to put the order in so two of us were almost done eating by the time the third got his meal. King Kone offers a tastier Purple Cow and the burgers are comparable too. The vanilla milkshake had an odd taste to it. We used a Groupon and the waitress seemed offput by it; making a big deal about how the manager would have to come over to verify it, etc. Honestly, if I had paid full price I would have been very disappointed. As it is we still won’t go back.
I’ve been to one in Little Rock and the one here in Hot Springs. I do not understand why anyone would eat at this place. The food is gross and the prices are ridiculous!
