Loved this restaurant. The ambiance was great and the food was fantastic. Service was a little slower than we would have liked, but the servers were very attentive and fulfilled our requests respectively. We would highly recommend. We will certainly eat there again when we come back to Hot Springs.
M Hill. SUPERB! I was a little hesitant in making reservations for my husband and I and my sister and her husband for Valentine’s Day, but we we’re not disappointed. First the atmosphere is just what I hoped for, a drippy candle type place, the meal was wonderful and the service was none the less. I highly recommend this place if your in Hot Springs, and if your from Hot Springs and have never been here, you need to experience this hidden gem.
We visited this restaurant 1/15/2015 after a day of Oaklawn racing. The ambiance was pleasant. There was a slide show of sites in Italy while a soft light display was going on in the back ground. Warm homemade bread was served. It was something special about it…it looked like a small pound cake because it was soooo smooth. Needless to say I devoured it. I left one slice for my boyfriend. We ordered Calamari as an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection (not rubbery)! I had the Sea Bass with grilled Asparagus, seasoned new potatoes and he had a Filet Mignon with Lobster Sauce (DELICIOUS), and seasonal veggies. After the meal was over, the owner came to our table, introduced himself and sent a tasty dessert shot to our table. I throughly enjoyed my experience there and we will be back soon.
Great Italian Food Here in Hot Springs. Small, comfortable, intimate, and quiet dinner atmosphere. The service was just right. Often a wait person is either too much in your face or not enough. Our wait person nailed it. He was helpful when we asked about menu selections and seemed to know customer favorites. It has been awhile since I’ve had Eggplant Parmesan. This was the best I’ve had. The Tiramisu was excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I would definitely take family and friends there again.
A quaint, romantic gem of a restaurant in this town. The bread and pesto is phenomenal and worth the trip alone. Atmosphere is wonderful. Service is great. The food was fantastic. Definitely a tourist must from this visitor’s opinion.
Unexpected delight!. My boyfriend and I visited Via Roma while staying at a Bed and Breakfast in Hot Springs. The waiter was exceptional, the staff exemplary, the meal was divine, and the ambiance purely Italian, including the music! I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp and my boyfriend had Spaghetti. I would highly recommend this place, not only for the cuisine but for a romantic dinner!
Great Service, Bland Food. The waitstaff and overall service are top notch; very professional. My wife and I had Calamari as an appetizer, and it just tasted like very generic fried food, and no salt/pepper (the waiter did offer cracked black pepper). My main meal came with soup or salad, and the soup of the day was Homemade Chicken Noodle. It was very interesting and I thought it was decent (cream based), but my wife didn’t like it. For our main dishes, we had Eggplant Parmesan and a Braised Quail dish. The Eggplant Parmesan was good, not great, and the Quail was a little tough. The sauce for the Quail was good, but lacked the depth I was expecting. The Mashed Potatoes served with it were also bland and not creamy; I had to add salt and pepper. For dessert, we had Crme Brle and a Cannoli. The former was served a little too cold and was not prepared fresh (I don’t believe that the sugar crust was caramelized right before serving, rather, done previously and stored in a fridge). The Cannoli was pretty good, filling had a nice sweet taste. The atmosphere is very nice, and the House Wines (Merlot and White Zin) were delicious. Overall, I believe that there are better places in Hot Springs for your money, and unfortunately, cannot recommend this restaurant.
