Terrible experience!!!! Went with a couple family members and had a short wait while one hostess looked for a table, which is to be expected, the hostess was sweet. A couple employees smiled but most looked miserable. While waiting for our table, we had to listen to them complain about other employees and people there eating. Glad that didn’t last long. Once we got our table, we were passed by several times before we waved down a server and got her to take our drink order which was strange because their wasn’t THAT many people there, several tables open everywhere. The server who got our order gave the table next to us one of our drinks so she had to go back and get it. We asked her what she reccomended and she gave vague responces. We tried to ask her about herself, she acted annoyed. She said her name was Amanda and she had worked there a year. We started to introduce ourselves but she cut us off saying the next tables food was done and she had to get it. We ordered our food when she got back. We ordered buffalo tenders with ranch and there was no buffalo sauce on the tenders so she brought out a small bowl of buffalo when I only had one tender left. We had to keep asking for refills on our drinks but we only received one refill. My mothers burger was ordered extra well done but came out pink in the middle, she never received her burger back until we asked for the ticket and saw it was still on it even though it hadn’t been brought out despite asking several times. My brother ordered ribs which came out okay except the sides were wrong and we never received the right ones. There was another family who sat beside us about 5 minutes after us and they got their food before us. Well done steaks and a chicken dish. We heard them complain as well but we couldn’t hear but bits and pieces. We asked to speak to a manager but instead of getting to talk to one, she rolled her eyes, got an attitude and said they were busy. I regret wasting my money here, my mother is old and we just wanted her to have a nice meal. :'(
Horrible service. We literally counted 16 empty tables from just the entrance view. Was told that we had at least a 15 minute wait. We did. Once we got seated and placed our order, the wait was about 30 minutes and still no food.You’d be better off eating at elsewhere.
Since the last time I ate at Cheddars, the experience has drastically improved. I got my meal in a reasonable amount of time, the prices were good considering portion size and quality. The main dishes are bland, but the sides have good flavor. I wish I had ordered a plate of sides and nothing else.
First time going to Cheddar’s since the name change. It’s now Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen. Pretty much the same menu. The portions here are always large and pretty tasty. The ribs are tender, fall off the bone. We saved some room for the Apple Crisp dessert and it was VERY good! Good value for the price.
My family went to eat on 02/12/2016. I knew it was going to be BUSY. I had my daughter go up there, so she could wait for us a TABLE. She said they called her number and it was for a booth, she told them she was waiting for a table, she waited. We arrived an hour later, she was still waiting, We waited with her for about 20 or 30 more minutes, I went and asked why we weren’t called, after seeing people leave and other people go in. He couldn’t find our number and when he did he said he called and it was marked off. My daughter told him she was needing a table an she would wait. The other guy said we can seat you, he did with a BOOTH. We thought we was going to a table and we was at a booth, Said if we wanted a table it would be 45 minutes longer because of there mistake. We sat in a booth that is way to little for my husband to sat in, he was to shame to walk away. The trip ruined the whole night. Food was good but service was bad.
Horrible staff/management and less than immaculate environment. When the restaurant first opened, we ate there frequently and had amazing service. We stopped frequenting about a year or two ago due to servers looking unkempt (dirty clothes/nails) with slow service. We went back today to give it another shot, hoping things had improved. I can’t comment on the food because after waiting for over an hour to be seated, another large party came in (after we had been waiting an hour) and were seated immediately. We refused to stay and patronize a business who has such lack of appreciation or respect for our time and business. I/we will never be back.
Great service, love the restaurant. I encountered a nice young man named Matthew when I went there. He was one of the nicest men I have met and gave me great service. He should definitely get a raise and less hours!
