Delicious. I took the bartenders recommendation and tried their new chef created Shepards Pie. It was perfect. Especially for a cold night. The portion was huge and I’m a pretty big guy. I will definately have this dish again. Great people and a great kitchen staff. I’ll definately be eating there again very soon. Nice job Creegans!
Great atmosphere. Awesome staff. Best brisket and onion rings ever!!
The shepards pie is really good
New management, improved food. The management at Cregeen’s in Jonesboro has changed recently, and it’s gotten much better. I had stopped going there because the food was consistently bad, but the new management has turned that around quite a bit. I love their pastrami sandwich; it’s easily one of my favorite things in town for dinner now. I also sampled the corned beef which was very good. It’s being made from scratch now, and Cregeen’s is probably the only place in town to get proper corned beef (full brisket, brined for days, and slow cooked). It actually reminded me a lot of the corned beef my grandmother used to make for me, which is saying something.I’d say give it another shot. It might surprise you.
Nice location, crappy food. My fish and chips had a soggy batter that failed to adhere to the fish. Nothing I or anyone of my party ate was noteworthy. I do like the two bars and the building itself, but I wouldn’t go here to eat again.
Great ‘authenticish’ Irish Pub especially for being in the middle of BFE Arkansas. Having been to REAL Irish Pubs, this is about as close as you can get in the midsouth. GREAT selection of beer both imported and domestic. I agree with other reviewers with the food being bland. It just needs more spices. Only thing missing from the atmosphere was the lower ceilings you see in europe. The main thing out of place (besides Americans, lol) was the techno/pop music playing over the speakers. All-in-all good experience.
