Of the restaurants I have visited, this is the better of the options in Jonesboro. The cheese dip stands alone, do not get it with the beans. The service was fast and friendly. Portion sizes were more than sufficient.
Rice Fail. Why does their rice have 15 different vegetables in it? A good mexican/spanish rice stands alone.
Unidentified object. I loved this place until I ate there tonight. I have no idea what the thin splintering piece of whatever was in the refried beans, but it was NOT onion like the guy (manager maybe) said. I have cooked onions. This was NOT a piece of onion. It may have been bone or cartilage, but NOT onion. Onions don’t splinter. Don’t lie to customers. We aren’t stupid.Usually the food is very good, but that ruined it for me. The waitress was very nice and apologetic.
I ordered a chicken and steak dish the waiter recommended and was disappointed. The steak was chewy and neither had much flavor. I feel this restaurant is probably better at burritos, tacos, etc. vs grilling so I am going to give them another try.

FANTASTIC. I HATE Mexican food, and most TexMex food as well… HOWEVER, Poco is the ONLY place I will eat Mexican food! I love their cheese dip and the nachos Mexicanos, beef and chicken, no veggies…. delish! The thing I like is that the food taste great as left overs, too! Heat the cheese dip right up and enjoy like you just bought it! Yummy!
