Good food – goofey picture. As a Chicago native – I can only wish for real submarine sandwiches – but theirs are good. For a laugh – read the names of the hot sauces. Oh, one other thing – the picture on the wall is truly goofey. A house is engulfed in flames – burning completely out of control – and the fireman is giving the thumbs-up sign and smiling as it burns to the ground. Have them make your sandwiches – but don’t let their fireman deal with your fires!
Excellent sandwiches
Good Meatball Sandiwich. I have a passion for meatball sandwiches. I try them everywhere they are available, and I get cravings for them. Jonesboro frankly, just doesn’t have much opportunity for variety in them. Firehouse is a decent sandwich shop, decent choices, pretty good quality in all of their sandwiches. However, their Sweet and Spicy meatball sandwich is far and away the best meatball sandwich available in North East Arkansas. I was actually surprised that it was so tasty, very pleasantly surprised. The place is generally very clean, but it is a tad slow for a sandwich shop and it does take a bit of time to get your sandwich. If you have a hankering for a meatball sandwich this is the place you need to go in the Jonesboro area.
