First time at Hibachi Grill in Jonesboro and was excited to take my daughters out for dinner to celebrate my new job. This all changed because of comment directed at daughter from front hostess who wasn’t professional. I did not enjoy the restaurant it was down hill before we sat down. Spoke mgmnt about hostess comment & he apologized but that was our last visit.
VERY VERY BAD!. Every piece of meat on my plate was so overcooked that it was inedible due to it’s hardness. This includes, BBQ pork ribs, BBQ beef, BBQ chicken, baked shrimp, stuffed clam shells, and teryaki chicken on a stick. The food was very under seasoned and extremely bland. Even the General Tso’s chicken didn’t have any kick (spice) to it. This being our first meal at this place I talked with the Asst. Manager on duty to point out the problems with the meal. She called her Manager who was only willing to give us 10% off of the meal. At $10 a person I was very unhappy that I had to leave there quite less than full for that amount of money. Good managers know that it is important to make it right with the customer if you value their return business. The only truly edible food was the sushi and the freshly made dished hot off the actual hibachi grill and even that was below par taste with very little seasoning.Take my advice and save yourself this very bad experience in substandard dining.
My family’s favorite place to eat Chinese food!!!
Food was mediocre. Buffet style so so food was cold some hot. The sushi maker was rude and didn’t know English. Other staff was nice but very hurried. Sweet tea was more like sugar with tea added to it instead of the other way around.
What a variety!!. Sure, there is the normal General Tsao’s Chicken, Coconut Shrimp, a variety of sushi, and fruit and pudding bar. But there was also fried fish, a baked ham, mashed potatoes, mini corn dogs, and fried cheese. I must admit, though, that even after tasting it, we could not identify the pink fluffy substance in individual cups. The food was generally warm, and we had pretty good service from a variety of staff members. The Hibachi was fast and tasty, and I mixed everything to my liking. We will go back, but at $10/person on Sundays, probably on a different day, and for lunch.
