  This place is absolutely amazing. Met this guy at my work when he delivered food to some of the planet faculty employees during 3rd shift at 3:00am. I thought he was just a delivery man taking food orders out at 3am and working slave hours. I was the security officer on duty and I talked to him for about 30 minutes because we couldn’t figure out who ordered the food. I told him I would come out and try to food. Well, I go in the next day with my wife to eat there for the first time. This guy in business attire comes up to me…. It was him!! He so happened to be the owner of Newks. He walked us through the menu and told us what the best food were and the history of the place. After, he took care of our meal for free as a gift from him and his@ business partner. I was so shocked that he was the owner. It really shows you how nice people really are. The food was amazing and you cant leave without trying the strawberry cake. We are now becoming regulars.

  If you haven’t had the chance to try out Newks make sure you put it on the top of your list of places to go. FRESH Salads, GREAT Sandwiches, AWESOME Pizzas, and even Mac & Cheese! Save room for a slice of their Fabulous Cakes! Strawberry and the NEW 6 layer Red Velvet are the best!!

  I was looking for a good lunch salad and Newks has a great selection of really interesting salads, along with soups and sandwiches. Dining area is spacious and the staff is right on top of things bussing tables, keeping the place very clean and providing quick service. I had the Newk’s favorite salad which was excellent. I’m now a fan for sure!

  Online ordering???. I tried to place a quick online order like i can with my domino’s app and at various other local restaurants. I was hoping this would be the quick and easy route to a light, simple, Sunday evening meal-as my troop had been ill overt the weekend and just wanted to pick something up very quickly, eat a bite, and lay down to get rested for the coming week. After navigating their maze of an online map and getting everyone’s order typed in,incl. all of the special instructions, hold items, add ons, etc. that come with any order from my crew….( And finally downloading their app and entering it ALL for a second time! ) then having to register the darn thing with my email, phone number, etc…. It didn’t have an option for pay at restaurant! It NOT send my order so they could start working on it and John had already left to pick it up as he was feeling bad and getting impatient waiting for me to get it all typed in. He had the card with him so my only c choice was to cancel the order and call it in. We will see if the got all of our special instructions……..

  I have only been twice, but they have very fresh good food. The salads are huge! Very clean restaurant. I plan on being back.

  Oh dayum this place is great. Whether you get a salad, soup or sandwich you can’t go wrong. The pizzas are good but they have a thin crust which should be crunchy, however it’s not.The place is really, really clean, the food is fresh and the prices reasonable…

  My party of five stopped in today for lunch at exactly noon and work unbelievably surprising how fast and courteous the service was the food was excellent and we will most definitely be back!
