Solid restaurant. I eat here several times a month and I’m never disappointed. Not to say some nights aren’t busier than others, or you may get a new sever that’s not quite as good as a seasoned one. As a whole the food is hot and the beer is cold, and the staff/management seem to be genuine in wanting you to have a good dining experience.
Haven’t been to outback since Longhorn opened and decided to give it another try last night. Now I remember why I haven’t been back in a while. I ordered a medium filet & steamed lobster tail. My filet was cooked rare. Not medium rare…blood rare. I’ve had to send back my last three steaks here. The lobster was more of a shrimp. I ate it in 3 bites. Service was not very either. Probably won’t be back.
Outback is great. Sometimes they will have slow service but all in all it’s awesome.
Great Service. Terrific food. A little pricey, atmosphere is a little bit quiet, very few TVs, but great place to take the family for a quiet night out.
I’ve eaten at Outback resturants in several cities and I’ve never had to send a steak back just for being a bad steak. I felt bad asking for another steak but there was no way I was going to be able to eat the one they brought me. The second steak was perfectly fine and perfectly cooked
Pretty pricey for ok food and slow service. Not a good pick for an upscale dining experience.
Pretty Decent Steak. Generally when I am reviewing a franchise restaurant I am not really reviewing the chain so much as the individual location. With a franchise its generally pretty obvious the type and quality of food you are supposed to be able to expect from an Outback, Chili’s, TGI Friday’s, Etc. At Outback you can expect steaks, chicken, and a bunch of dishes with cutesy Australian sounding names. This particular location is just fine with a few hiccups along the way. The service can be a little slow because its split into a drinking and a non drinking side, and I think this split contributes to the service being a little off from time to time. The also tend to have problems cooking the steaks to how you want them cooked at this location, as this has been a problem I have had there for years. If you order your steak medium its really going to be medium rare, and occasionally it will randomly come out well done. They are good about fixing these problems though. The rack of lamb is particularly good and I recommend requesting the Cabernet Sauce with any steak you order, its really tasty. Avoid the Caesar Salad, it has always had a very strong and odd flavor here.
