We love Papitos, we eat there almost once a week. The food is wonderful and our special server/ friend Juan is absolutely the best, always there to get you anything you want or need. Also the manager Israel is a great guy and will make sure you are taken care of. I tried something new called Molcajete Mexicano, it is served in a lava rock and is more food than one can eat. Try this place and you wont be disappoint.

I enjoy the food at Papitos and, the service is usually good. I’ve visited about 9-10 times, and only once did I not have good service. It’s sometimes hard to compare Mexican restaurants because they all have so many different food offerings on the menu. Some places seem to be better at fajitas, while others are better at burritos, and still others are better at cheese dip and salsa. For this reason, I don’t know that I can say that Papitos has the best food; but since it opened, it has become the Mexican restaurant I frequent most often, even though it’s definitely not the one that is closest to my home. All the food items that I’ve tried, I’ve enjoyed, and the prices are very reasonable. Mexican restaurants seem to be everywhere in Jonesboro (there has to be close to thirty), but this restaurant seems to stay quite busy. They have a full bar and multiple beers on draft, if you’re interested. The draft prices are very reasonable. The inside of the restaurant is tastefully decorated and has always been fairly clean on my visits. I recommend that you give them a try.
Please avoid at all costs. The service was horrible. We walked into the restaurant and no one smiled or said hello. The hostess grabbed a couple of menus and walked to our table without telling us to follow her. The waiter acted as though we were a bother. Extremely uncomfortable. We walked out without placing our order. We wonder if the people who work there are allowed to smile.
