This is vintage JONESBORO. Catfish buffet at its best. The times I’ve been here I wasn’t impressed but then what is impressive about a bunch of fried catfish, chicken, and fries.
An old favorite on the west end of town, Ron’s serves up catfish, hush puppies, cole slaw, baked beans and some of the best tomato relish in the region. All sorts of cakes to choose from, too. tiedyetravels.com
Best fish buffet. My family thoroughly enjoys eating at Ron’s Catfish . The food is great, hot and fresh as one would expect . Your drink is included with the total price. The cost for dining at Ron’s is somewhat higher than one would expect but as we have seen many, many times some customers do leave several whole pieces of fish , etc. , stacked on their plates only to be thrown into trash containers . If patrons and others do not wish for the price to rise so quickly then stop wasting so much food . Your actions either way will make a difference .
Great food/Long lines. We love the food , but at certain times they need to have two registers.
Food was fresh and delicious even at 8:00 pm. Frog legs were excellent.
So So Buffet. I had heard great things about Ron’s so I was very excited to try it. I found it to be your typical fried catfish buffet. It was tasty but nothing I would get excited about. The one thing that was very good was the Cajun fried catfish. It was spicy and was a much better choice than the overly salty regular catfish.
Great food. Ron’s might be a little overpriced for their buffet, but there is a wide variety of food to choose from. Ron’s fish has been spectacular every time I have eaten there. The pies are wonderful. all in all a pretty good restaurant.
