Excellent food and service! We love the salad bar. The servers are always attentive and the managers are friendly. It’s our favorite place to grab a drink… Best cocktails in town and affordable prices!
Good Food, but Where did the Salad Bar go?. Our visit to Rubys was enjoyable overall. My wifes sirloin with pepper and asiago cheese was a very pleasant surprise as it was not only cooked perfectly but retained enough moisture to maximize the beef flavor and was also tender which can be a challenge for a sirloin. Our kudos to the chef. My chicken and mushroom Alfredo was more than adequate but the Cajun spices overwhelmed the creamy Alfredo sauce. The chicken was white meat and tender, the mushrooms were fresh not canned as expected. I added the salad bar to my meal since I have fond memories of previous Rubys salads. This was the only disappointment. Although the bar was superbly maintained, it has become a pre-meal salad bar, not a meal in itself as it once was. There was a variety of lettuces to choose from, fresh vegetables, shredded cheeses, and the famous Ruby croutons for toppings, but the only other prepared salads were a marinated pasta salad with peas, and a lightly adorned potato salad. Since I only wanted enough salad for an appetizer this was more than adequate but the previous varieties of salad on the famous bar were not to be found.
Good place for a salad and a burger.. This particular Ruby Tuesday seems to be far nicer than the others ones I have been too. Its a little more upscale, and I am not really sure why. It could have something to do with the fact that its a private club, but I am not really sure. Its not the best restaurant in town, but I will say this. When I am craving a REALLY good cheeseburger this is the place that I come to. The Triple Prime Burger here is truly excellent. I recommend it with cheddar. Also, of course the salad bar is always good and its always exceedingly clean. Which is a rarity for salad bars in Jonesboro. As an appetizer I recommend the dumplings in Peanut Sauce.
Going uphill. It seems like Ruby Tuesday has gotten a lot better than it used to be. The cocktails are cheap, like $4-$6, and they’re good. And I’m glad they’ve updated the decor. The atmosphere is a lot nicer. And Ruby Tuesday definitely has THE BEST salad bar in Jonesboro. Sooooo tasty.
