Best Tacos in Jboro. I live for the tacos at this place. They come with a bowl of minced cilantro and onion, lime wedges, and the best tomatio sauce on the planet. They are so flavorful, authentic, and unlike anything else I’ve had in Jonesboro. There isn’t much ambiance, but it is clean and the food is honest and unbeatable in price and quality. It is owned by a small family and they are always extremely friendly and helpful.
No atmosphere. This place has good food, but the ambience of a dry cleaning store.
Honest, simple food. The staff member at the regsiter was very friendly and read most of the menu to us while we stood at the register – not that we needed that help. But he was honestly trying to help, and we’ll never fault someone for that! In the refrigerator case behind the register were some Coca Cola products from Mexico – Coke Classic and an apple-flavored soda. Both were fantastic!Ordered three tacos for $5.75 – and that’s exactly what we received. No beans or rice like on a plate at other restaurants in town. The fajita meat in the tacos seemed bland, yet the same meat on the pile of nachos was well seasoned, so we’re not sure what happened there. Nacho plate was a generous portion. While lunch was being cooked, I slipped to the men’s room for a moment and was greeted by someone’s hygiene supplies – toothbrush, comb, and razor.Everything was prepared as requested, and we took it home. A mystery met us when we arrived home – a small plastic baggie with a knot in the top held a liquidy substance. The wife noted its resemblence to a colostomy bag! Bravely opening opening and tasting, I was met with a VERY flavorful and VERY spicy salsa. While it took my breath away at first, I generously poured it over the nachos and lapped up every drop of it!I will probably return, as I did really enjoy the nachos, and the counter service was very polite. I wouldn’t bring a client or business guest here, though.
Came here for the fist time with a gal pal. Best Mexican food in Jonesboro…authentic atmosphere and savory aromas! Great menu with wonderful salsa and tacos! Amazing
I tried them today for the first time, really good. If you like fresh home cooked mexican, tacos don richard is the place to go.
Wife & I both ordered 3 Taco plates. Between us we tried all but ground beef & shredded beef. We recommend tacos al pastor & steak/cheese w/ provided salsa verde. BEST salsa verde I’ve ever had. This place most definitely deserves your business
