Worst restaurant I’ve been to in my entire life. The staff had a food fight in the middle of the restaurant! In the middle! I’ve worked in a restaurant before. It is absolutely unexceptable to be working AND eating at a table on the job. On your break? Sure. In the back. But our server was EATING and then serving us and then continued to eat! Waited 5 minutes for chips and salsa due to the food fight. The kitchen had their own personal music blaring over the Mexican music. And it sounded like the kitchen was having a party in there. I wish I was being dramatic. I took one look around and every customers head was turned toward the kitchen. I’ve never in my life dreamed of a worse experience than I had that night. Needs an absolute complete make over. Not to mention the food is bad quality and way over priced for what you are getting. A food fight, people!
The beans and rice barely covered a thin layer of the plate and the cheese dip tasted like it had been watered down with milk. Salsa had a heavy onion flavor. Service was great and the people were nice but the food was subpar.
No bueno. This place has really gone downhill. Service and food used to be great, but now all the employees just stand around and talk (in spanish) Never anyone to seat you or check you out either. Dining room has really gotten nasty, too. Not worth the price or the noise level.
My wifes favorite Tex-Mex. The whole family loves TaMollys. The Monterrey is a family favorite andI like the Burrito. The Atmosphere is nice and casual. Wait staff is curteous. Highly Recommend.
If you understand and enjoy Tex-Mex, I highly recommend this restaurant. It is not by any means fine dining but you most definitely get what you pay for. This is a great family place because one, the food is extremely fast and two, there is one (I repeat one) very talented balloon man that keeps the kiddos entertained so parents can enjoy there meal for at least two seconds. Maybe certain people can’t appreciate this but I know there are many customers that come back week after week.
To bad this is in a dry county. It’s sad that this place is in a dry county because you need liquor to make this place enjoyable. I guess if Tex-Mex food that has all of the flavor and appeal of a cheap Mexican TV dinner is what you are looking for the Tamolly’s is right up your alley. For those of you who want to sit down at a Mexican restaurant with any resemblance to quality, then I suggest you go elsewhere, any where else. To make matters worse they often employ these creepy balloon animal makers who walk around and scare/creep out the children. Honestly, how does that make sense, or even seem like a good idea. Avoid this place, it offers nothing of value.
