Small menu, but excellent food and service. The atmosphere is friendly and quiet. I really enjoyed the house salad dressing.the grilled chicken was excellent. My wife had the spinach, ham and cheese empanadas. They were great.
Great meal and service! Vincent was very attentive and helpful. My wife and I split Buenos Aires as it seemed a good sampling. Salad and fries were both wonderful. The sausage, chicken, and flank steak were by far the best. Alamos red blend went well with the meal. Rustic feel that was a nice atmosphere. Definitely need to visit in warmer weather to try outdoor area.
I love seeing new and different restaurants coming downtown and this is a good one. The place is really nice with a nice bar area. Went for lunch and started with a meat and cheese tray and it was great. The meats were seasoned very well and nice choices of cheeses. Then the house salad had a terrific dressing on it. The empanadas were very good. I had a beef, ham and cheese and chicken. The ham and cheese was my favorite. I look forward to trying this place for dinner.1/31/2018Back for lunch and we started with the Proveleta. This is a bowl of melted cheese with some bread. This is very good, just know that you have to scrape the pan to get the cheese out, its a bit of work. I then had the Mulanesa with chicken. It is breaded chicken, pounded pretty think and fried. It was dry, a bit tough but tasty. It can with a nice salad as a side. I also had the soup of the day pronounced loco. It was a bacon, beef and bean soup that was good. I continue to enjoy Buenos Aires.3/16 back for a Saturday late lunch. It is a beautiful day so we sat out on the very large outdoor patio. We ordered the cheeseburger and bratwurst. Both were excellent! Best burger in awhile. We will keep coming back.
First off: best new restaurant in LR in recent years. Second: service is friendly but glacially slow. So there’s that. Back to the food: Amazing. Every item from – and especially — the empanadas to the Argentinian ribeye was mouth-watering and we scarfed it down like starving wolves. And we kept ordering more and more (when we could track our waiter down – no small feat). But I will not be deterred: hopefully the service kinks are ironed out soon because this food is incredible.
