My favorite Mexican restaurant, hands down! The shrimp chile rellanos are amazing and hold up even when you order to go. The creamy jalapeo dip is to die for.
By far the worst Mexican food in Little Rock. Service is always bad and they never bring your order out like you asked. I thought On the Border was a sad excuse for Tex-Mex until I came to Chuys. The waitress seemed to have been up for a few days and when we asked for cheese on our salad we got a small sauce bowl that ended up costing us a dollar.
We ate dinner at Chuy’s in west Little Rock tonight and I don’t think we’ll ever return. I ordered the Veggie Enchilada one of my favorite meals there and it wasn’t up to what I have come to expect. Also I bit into about an inch long piece of plastic bottle cap that was somehow in the salsa and I have regurgitated at least four woody avocado stems that was mixed into the guacamole that we ordered. This all makes me wonder what else was in our food. I can no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Expensive and not delicious. They said they give me for lunch half the size of a portion. They wanted to say half the size of a double portion and they charged me very expensive for a plate of fajitas. The child wouldn’t eat the french fries and the chicken.
I’m actually commenting on the new NLR location. We liked it but didn’t love it! Surprised at what they didn’t have. No fresh guacamole made at the table and our guest was disappointed they didn’t have Salmon. Our platters of food were generous but pretty standard fare. Other Mexican restaurants have better food.
Waited and waited. Waited at the front to be seated took forever and they weren’t even busy. Finally got a seat and drinks. Waited 20 min and still no service after the server walked by multiple times helping everyone else. (Total of 5 tables full). So we left angry of course and still hungry. Gm came out to talk to us and was very nice and seems like he will take care of the issue hopefully
I tried out Chuy’s and it was a mixed bag. The service staff were short staffed, it was obvious and sad. The food was a good price and decent plus the fresh tortillas are warm. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and it showed up with olives on it and very weak on the booze. Sad times.
