Got seated as soon as we entered. But waited about 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Then another 20 minute wait for us to get our drinks (my boyfriend ordered iced tea and I just wanted a glass of iced water). After another half an hour of waiting (total wait time is now 1 hour and 10 mins) with our waitress not even coming by our table to check on us or to even let us know how long it will be, I reached out to her while she was serving food to the table directly behind us (even though they came in and were seated about half hour after us), and asked our waitress how long our food would be. She said she didn’t know and that she would go check. Well, she left to go check but didn’t come back to us till a while 20 minutes later only to tell us they’ve got 2 orders ahead of our and then we’ll be up. Only then, my boyfriend and I were frustrated and so we just told her to cancel our order and we’ll just pay for his iced tea and be on our way. She then left to get our bill. We waited another 15 mins and when she didn’t return to us (yet we saw her continuously checking in on other tables), I left a $5 bill on the table and we left. We arrived there at 12 noon on a Saturday and left around almost 2 pm. With no food. It’s very unfortunate because ever since my boyfriend and I moved to Arkansas a few months ago, we heard nothing but good things about this place from our coworkers. So we finally decided to check it out and it was NOT a good first impression.
Great place!! I loved the pancakes! And the owner? gave me one of the small photos that they sell for free since I was there visiting from South Carolina!
Be ready to wait 30-45mins for food, but it is delicious. One waitress ignored us completely and we didn’t even get water, but the other one more than made up for it. Oh, and they got the order wrong. But still tasted good.
Amazing service and food! Staff is extremely friendly and food comes out fast and is very delicious! We had the traditional breakfast and it was a great portion for one or two people if you want to share!
