What a treat! With multiple food allergies in our family, it’s great to be able to eat out without worrying! Fresh soups and sandwiches for lunch and wonderful baked goods. Love it!
We went to the Dempsey Bakery on the advise ofmy sister. She is gluten intolerant. She raved aboutthe place and we wanted to check it out for ourselves.We arrived at 9:00. They don’t open until 10:00.We were devastated, because we were on a schedule.The owner and genius behind the bakery, Paula came to the door. She said we could come in, but they didn’t have all the samples out yet. SAMPLES!We tried everything! My favorite is the Hot Milk Cake.It is like a pound cake, but lighter – melts on your mouth!We were delighted with the cookies, cakes and bread. And they ship! If you are in Arkansas – go by the Dempsey Bakery!It is between the Clinton Museum and the state Capitol. Ten stars!!!!
Specialty Bakery for sure!!. Dempsey’s has all kinds of egg free, dairy free products. They even have a sugar free cookie. If you have a special occasion they will make just about anything you need if you call ahead and make arrangements. Many restaurants carry their breads so you can eat a sandwich all over town including Conway and Hot Springs. Just go to their website and check out their partners or their likes on FB. What a Fun Place
Best gluten-free bakery!. A friend took me here for the first time this past week while I was visiting Little Rock. Amazing! I live in the Orlando area and counted myself lucky to live near Deland Bakery, another gluten-free baker. While Deland Bakery has a good product, they have nothing on Dempsey’s. Everything I tried as far as the samples they had available was wonderful. I enjoyed my first freshly baked cinnamon roll since having to go gluten-free six months ago. I took home a loaf of the Italian bread and it is delicious. I sooo wish there was a Dempsey’s in Orlando!
Delicious and Baked with Love. You can always taste love from the baker if she is really into her food and that is pretty evident at the Dempsey Bakery. The Avocado Veggie Sandwich and Basil Tomato Soup were love filled and delicious! The Key Lime Tart and Milk Cake were phenomenal. Pricey, but aren’t you worth it???! diannehocut.blogspot.com
Yumm. I just ate one of their cookies…. well two. They were great! I plan on recomending them to others and visiting again myself. I don’t do gluten free but why not when their products are so good!
Whenever we are in town, we try to stop by. Great breads, cookies and more!!
