EJ’s offers some very good burgers and sandwiches in the heart of downtown Little Rock. The restaurant looks and feels like a traditional American diner. It has many regulars that come several times a month. Service has always been fast and friendly when I’ve visited. If you’re not in the mood for a burger or sandwich, try the soup. It’s good. Better yet, get a burger and some soup.
Came for Sunday brunch. The quiche was delicious and cooked through with a nice crust. The burger was tender and tasty. The breakfast club (regular size) was quite large and flavorful. The chips were great. On the breakfast plate, the scrambled eggs could have been fluffier and we wish the biscuits, which were topped with gravy, would have been served warm instead of cold. Service was a bit slow even though the place wasn’t bustling, and they were out of decaf coffee.
