Cute & old fashioned. The selection was overwhelming and we ended up ordering more food than what we could eat. It was no problem though – we just had lunch for the next day!The servers behind the counters were patient as we were trying to make up our minds. And the helpers were really kindly directed us to our table.The food was delicious. It is not what I eat on a daily basis, but I enjoyed the treat!
Better than expected. My only problem was selecting just one of several delicious looking entrees. Everything including sides were hot and cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. Everywhere I looked was very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and eager to please. I must admit to being cheap and difficult to impress but I left with a full tummy and a huge smile. No one stays in business 94 years without doing something right.

Flavor? Seriously? It reminds me of hospital food. No salt….I couldn’t salt it enough. We were the youngest people in the place (we are both 48)….and it felt like a nursing home. Everything was so bland. We won’t be back.
Unexpectedly Good Fish. My grandmother brought me here one day. I had the best baked catfish I’ve had in a long time! I craved it all throughout my pregnancy. Really friendly staff…my only issue is with the pricing!! It can get super expensive SUPER fast! Make sure you watch the prices of what you put on your tray!
I have been coming to Franke’s since 2004 and they are as good today as back then.
Awful!. Used to be great but it seems to went downhill over the years. Service was horrible and the food is awful! The country fried steak I had was overcooked and the gravy on top of it is bland. The dressing I ordered as a side of vegetables is dry and taste like its been served more than one day and the macroni and cheese is gooey and tasteless. They are stingy with their portions and will have an attitude when you asked for more even when say you’ll pay extra. I’m sorry but if I going to pay extra I feel that I can ask for more food as much as I want. I don’t think I will return here again until I see improvements with their service and food.
