I’ve been a couple of times and each time I go in hoping for a better experience. This recent time, I went for lunch where I wait for one roll for about 35 minutes. When I got the roll, it was warm and watery. Will not be returning.
Delicious sushi and fantastic wait staff! Went for a date night and really enjoyed it. We got the morning sky sushi platter which was more than enough for 2 and came with soup and salad. The rolls were delicious and well plated. I also ordered a mojito and it was also delicious! Great place. We’ll definitely be back.
Good sushi, bad service/management. My husband and I went in on a somewhat busy night. We wanted a booth so we opted to get a drink at the bar and wait, which we didnt mind. We ordered a drink and eventually got a booth. Once at the table we ordered sake which was good and placed our order right away. 40 minutes and another drink later, no food. We asked our server if it would be out soon, and she said the kitchen was behind. We had ordered nigiri and sashimi, two raw dishes. 5 minutes later she’s brought us a bowl of rice and we waited another 5 minutes, still no food. We asked to speak to a mgr. The mgr came over, didn’t apologize and stated it would be 2 or 3 min. Very brisk with us. 10 minutes later we had our food. Great sushi, but bad service. We asked the waitress if she could take a couple drinks off because we had waited an hour and she said she would have to ask the manager. When the waitress came back, she said the manager had said no, and that if she gave us a discount she would have to give everyone else a discount…ok. (other people around us were getting food that they had ordered after us). My husband and I are always a $100 tab. We really liked the sushi and would have gone back on a regular if it wasn’t for the service and management making it clear they don’t care about getting repeat business. We will take our money elsewhere.
