This restaurant is probably the very best representation of Little Rock cuisine in town, and easily one of the top places to eat around. It is absolutely phenomenal. Not only is the food good, imaginative, and ever-changing, the cocktails are also easily the best in town. It’s not even close. Chef Matt Bell and his staff are absolutely fantastic and so very friendly. LOVE this place!
Best restaurant in LR. Chef Matt Bell and his staff have perfected fine southern cuisine. Paired with unparalleled ambiance and excellent customer service this place is a must eat. Great cocktail and whisky selection as well!
I went with friends for brunch yesterday, and was not impressed. The Mac and cheese was so bland. The biscuits were hard as rocks, the syrup for the French toast tasted burnt. The fried egg was not runny. The Bloody Mary mix didn’t have much flavor. Everything is overpriced. Definitely not coming back.
Not impressed at all. Items on menu were not served as described. Execution of duck was poor and my children steaks were extremely small. The family ate all their food and we are still hungry. We are not over eaters and dont splurge on large portions ar meals. Save some money and time and go somewhere else.
Outstanding Sunday brunch. Duck sausage is fantastic (slightly spicy for those of tender constitution). Biscuits are out of this world. Casual atmosphere and great service. One of the top brunches in LR/NLR. Don’t miss it.
Second visit for lunch today. I really like the feel of the place and the environment. Started out with tomato soup which I could not eat – had a really odd taste. Then had the fried pickled mushrooms and they were very good. Had the chicken salad sandwich with a side salad. The salad was really bad. Way too much dressing and it was really bland. The sandwich has very little chicken salad – really odd and very little flavor. Second time lunch was disappointing. Service was good.10/10/2017 back for lunch today to try again. I hear the burger is good so I wanted to give it a try. I started with the pickled mushrooms and hush puppies. I didn’t care for the hush puppies but the mushrooms are still very good. The burger however was forgettable. The bun was flat and dried out, the meat was well cooked but lacking seasoning. The dressing was fairly bland as well. The fries were ok but a little overcooked. I really want to enjoy the restaurant but struggling to do so.
Love the venue. I wish we had a restaurant music venue of this caliber in my neighborhood! Enjoyed a Wed eve Live Local performance (RJ Misho and his Red Hot Blues Band rocked) and a really good dinner. Prices for the kind of food seemed reasonable for an out of towner. The baked oysters were delicious and fresh, chopped salad was not memorable but fresh, rib eye was cooked to order, the duck breast was juicy and the corn pudding stuffed with bacon was unbelievable. Wine list was short, interesting and fairly priced. Service was attentive given the challenges of serving in a full restau ant during a music performance. I would be spending all my Wed eves here if I lived in Little Rock.
