Great neighborhood place!. This is a great neighborhood grill/bar! The ambience is casual and comfortable, the live music is awesome, and the food I’ve had was very good. I had the turkey burger and my companions had the catfish. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and tasted great! I will definitely be back!!
Great Local Haunt – Good Food, Good Beer, Good Company. This place is great! Not only is it a treasured hole in the wall where the drinks are cold and the food is good, it’s got a great atmosphere to boot! The owners Mark and Sherry are super nice and get right in serving drinks and chattin’ up the locals. They have really great bands that come in and play all the good tunes from the yesteryears and if you go on a Friday night it’s likely to be hoppin’ and pretty packed. They are also amazingly pet friendly, which I love, and have even invited my Newfie mix Alphie to come and hang on the deck while we knock back a few DB Pale Ales!! Definitely a great bar and one of my favorite haunts.
Great food, great music, great people. One of my favorite local restaurants! Went last Friday night and our food was outstanding. Started with an Italian sausage, potato and kale soup, homemade by Sherry herself. Very delicious. I had the catfish platter, which was the best catfish I’ve had in Little Rock. Several large fillets, perfectly fried and seasoned. It came with several side items, including fries, cole slaw, relish and okra. All delicious and the platter was big enough to share. My boyfriend had the patty melt with onion rings, which he thought was the best he’s had in town. This was the first time he has eaten there and he was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and flavor of their food. The owners, Sherry and Mark, are genuinely interested in making sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable time. We stayed for the band and what a treat! Thirst N’s has live music and never charges a cover. Highly recommend Thirst N’Howl. Great food, great prices, great people, great music!
Blues Night. Tuesday nights are blues jam with some great musicians sitting in. Food was good, beer cold, and the music great!
Great customer service. Delicious food. Reasonably priced.d. Two of my favorite things; great customer service and ICE cold beer. Yum! Their food IS fresh everyday. They create their own recipes and make dishes from scratch. The owners are friendly and focused on great customer service. The staff reflects that, as well. Very reasonable prices and great weekly specials. Very clean and smoke-free environment. Great patio. The food is BY FAR some of the best in Little Rock! Boiled peanuts!!! Catfish plate! White chili! It’s all wonderful. Visit, you’ll love it 🙂
$10 catfish dinner plate in Friday night was outstanding! Huge portion, crisp, hot, flavorful and well worth the price with the sides. Collard greens were good and fries also. Will definitely be back.
Great Burger, great beer and dog friendly!!! A must if in Little Rock.
