I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the El Cubano sandwich. Yesterday, however, I was very disappointed. The sandwich was grilled and loaded with meat, but was cold by the time it made it to the table. There is absolutely nothing good about a cold grilled sandwich. Hubby enjoyed his beats, though.
Beer was good but not excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful though. I got the bean and rice soup and my wife got the veggie sandwich. The veggie sandwich was a little sweet but she liked it. It had goat cheese and fig jam which is unusual but it all worked. There is a little merchandise that is attached to the restaurant that sells growlers, tshirts, and cups, if you are into this place.
Always a good choice on Sundays. They have great food fresh beer with the added bonus of getting to take a 6 pack or growler home with you. Food is always fresh and really comparable in price to most breweries around town.
We stopped in for a Sunday lunch. I ordered the Cuban and was blown away. Awesome sandwich and great beer. I’ll drive back for another Cuban any day of the week.
Good!. Was totally unaware they had opened a restaurant. Food was very good, fresh herbs and good seasoning. Of course the beer was a great compliment. Only observations are that some of the service staff looks like they may be a step away from being homeless, but they performed good service so maybe they just had a bad day. And it is a pricey lunch. Over $40 for two people… Sandwiches and two beers and tip.
We spent a nice Sunday evening here. It was our 1st visit and man were we pleasantly surprised. For a beer joint (said with the HIGHEST regard) the food is AWESOME. We ordered the cheese plate, the brats appetizer, Steak sandwiches, the Rueben, a few different beers and the Loblolly Root beer Float. Everything was OH SO good and the service we got was excellent. The atmosphere is fresh & fun with cool chalkboard signs that look like artwork. I certainly look forward to returning. The only suggestion I have is to expand to a full bar!
