Best Chinese place around!. I met Simon (the owner/chef) and his wife when I got my first job at the age of 16 at Hunan Palace in Cabot 25 years ago. I have been frequenting their establishment in NLR since I found out they relocated there. Hands down, Simon’s Hunan Palace Express is top notch! If you want fresh, quality Chinese food at a budget friendly price, Hunan Palace express is the place to go! My favorite is Chicken Lo Mien, but everything he cooks is fab!
Lately not up to standards. Been eating there for a couple of years but the last two times I cant seem to find any meat in my hunan beef. Use to be my first choice but not anymore
Friendly staff and great food. We love the egg drop soup, fried rice, and moo goo gai pan. Very small dining area, they do mostly to go orders.

The staff is very friendly. The menu has lots of choices without being overwhelming. And the food is budget friendly and delicious!!! We are definitely coming back again!
Amazing!!!!. Best chinese food!!! Everything is cooked at ordered time and always good. You always get a lot for your money and everything is so fresh. You can eat there but they have only 4 tables. We love to do take out. If I cook Chinese food I always buy my rice here instead of cooking it. Cost me more to cook the rice then it does just to buy it. Won’t be disappointed!
Everything is delicious! Twice cooked pork, the hot & sour soup is awesome! It’s always hot & fresh! I recommend this place!!
