This restaurant has gone down hill in a heartbeat the service is horrible and the Manager on duty Sunday night was a joke,if you are going to call yourself an Italian restaurant then serve food that taste Italian serve it hot and when it takes over an hour to get your food please train your manager to come tell us why. These young kids were goofing off and so was he. We won’t be back this place is terrible:(
We have always had good service and good food at Carino’s so I hate to write anything negative but I won’t have a party there again. I called them 6 days in advance for a birthday party for my husband then went there the day before to confirm everything including that we would have 24 people. On the night of, we only had one waitress and she tried her best but service was obviously slow. I had to keep getting up to ask for water and stuff for our guests and we thought we would never get our salads. They weren’t busy either as it was a Tuesday night.
This place was horrible. there was hair in my food and she slammed down our drinks when we got them . our food was cold she was very rude to me and my family . never going there again.
Okay so, I had Carinos several years ago and I remember it being delicious. I went a few weeks ago and it was mediocre at best. The restaurant has a wet damp smell that is hard to explain. I was at Wal-Mart on McCain a few days ago and there was a staff from Carinos buying several loaves of their garlic bread and she told the customer behind her that Carinos was out of bread and she was sent to pick up Wal-Mart bread. I will not be back.
I would eat here again , the server did a really good job keeping my finance and i with soup,drinks and bread. It would be nice if the bread came with a serving knife to cut it. The food taste good but my spaghetti had very little sauce. Olive Garden would get the win over Johnny carinos. I would give my overall experience an 80 pct.
Most of our party of four loved it. I liked it, but it wasn’t outstanding. My meal was kinda chewy, like it had sat under a heat lamp or had been microwaved, but it still managed to be decent. Pretty good service, very friendly. Loved my strawberry lemonade mixed drink. To me was no different than any other Italian chain restaurant.
Need to apologize for using Italian in there name. This was the worst excuse for italian food I have ever had. Food and wait for food was horrible the service was great. I would never go back here and we had the best waiter ever at a restaurant the place wasn’t crowded when we arrived around 4pm and we got appitzers pretty fast then we waited and waited and waited for our food still nothing at this point the waiter brought the manager over to apologize it was 6pm and the food was just about to get done so we told the manager to pack our food to go they did and comped half the bill which we were not expecting but pleased they also wrote please don’t let this one misstep stop us from returning and it wouldn’t have had the food been good. I’ve had better frozen lasagna and pot roast was so bad the kids didn’t even want it so my hubby tossed it in the trash. They shouldn’t even be allowed to call themselves American Italian let alone Italian. Every time I see one of their commercials or drive past one I cringe.
