Yummy!. Pork sandwich is wonderful. Best catfish my husband has every had, and let’s just say he is not young. Friendly staff and the other customers were telling us what a great place it is. LOVE THE ICE SHAVINGS IN THE DRINKS!!!!!
NO MORE WHOLE HOG CAFE, NO MORE CORKY’S , NO MORE MEAT SHOPPE…..MICK’S BBQ!!. I went to Mick’s BBQ today for the first time. I had the Hot Link Platter. It comes with 2 links, both in hotdog buns with bbq sauce and coleslaw. My sides were BBQ Beans and Potatoes salad. Man….it was frackin’ awesome!! The hotlinks sandwiches were not over-powering with heat. The slaw was creamy and not to sweet. The BBq sauce was not to spicy. It was perfect! It was just plain delicious. Definitely worth the money. I will be going back. Everything is made to go There are 2 picnic tables with a big fan at the front. I just parked my truck in the shady spot and chowed down. You’ll be glad you tried this place.
Great BBQ. We stopped at Micks BBQ today for lunch in a thunderstorm. Plenty of overhang to wait out of the rain! We had BBQ pork sandwiches which were great, very smokey tasting, need lots of napkins! Fries and onion rings were good as were the fried pies! Will definitely be telling my friends about this place! Thought prices were a good bargain!! Wondering about the deviled eggs……
Best BBQ in NLR. Used to work down the street from this place and ordered so much, they knew my voice! Great pulled pork sanwiches! Prices are very competetive and fried food is always fresh. Mick is great guy and hangs out quite a bit in Argenta. Try the Rib sandwich if you’re in a hurry. Catfish basket is also great here! Only complaint is they charge you for a hush puppy! WTF? Nothing in life is free I guess. Except for ketchup!
Mick’s is GREAT!!!. One of my new favorite places. It is kind of out of the way for me to go, but that is not going to stop me from making this place one of my frequently eaten restaurants….if you can even call it a restaurant. The BBQ was great. It was so good that I am going back, just to try other menu items. Looking forward to trying the catfish and jerk chicken.
I went on sunday so you could tell the ribs were from saturday….BUT they were still good and the slaw was excellent.
Small Town BBQ Greatness!. Delicious BBQ located at this cozy little hideaway on MacArthur Drive in North Little Rock, AR. The sauce is rich and bold, the pork is fresh and chunky, and the slaw makes just the right touch for this wonderful (but messy) BBQ sandwich. Sandwich, chips, and tea for under $6…can’t beat that!
