First time there last week. Had to check it out due to the tv show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives…Upon telling the server it was our first visit, she was understanding and helpful. The NorthBar lemonade was so good, we ordered refills, which we NEVER do. The fried Brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing! Just the right amount of seasoning and sweet. The selection of burgers is overly adequate- many vegetarian, as well as a large variety of meats, offering spicy to mild. I had sweet potato fries; husband had ranch fries. Mine could have used some kind of sweet sauce for dipping, and his were way too salty. I had the salmon burger, which was perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. Husband had a chicken spicy something or other – cant remember the name, but he said it was awesome! The only down side was the cost for two, was 93.00! (includes 20% tip and 4 hard drinks)
Just had lunch here. The food was awesome (esp considering I only had a salad). The TV’s kinda threw me off, I wasn’t sure if it was a sports bar or what but the service was very good, nice folks and most importantly the food was good. I’ll definitely be back.
Tried out this new restaurant and first impression was good. A small, clean and inviting and somewhat confusing. Called a Bar, it has big screen tv’s all around the room with a small but very nice bar area. However the tables and menu and everything else say it is a restaurant. The menu has a good selection of burgers, sandwiches and plate dinners. We started with the meatball appetizer which were sweet and very well done. Then I had the catfish platter with waffle fries. The fries were good and the catfish was seasoned well and tasted good. Definitely worth a second visit.4/28/17. We for dinner tonight to see what that menu was like. The menu is burgers, chicken and fish sandwiches with waffle fries and salads. The appetizers were not appealing at all. The small restaurant and bar was packed and the line was growing. It’s obvious the surrounding neighborhoods have adopted this concept. It is VERY loud to the point of being painful. The burgers were ok, the waffle fries (sweet potato and white potato) were a bit bland and the salad a little boring. The drinks got mixed reviews. It was an ok dinner that was a priced ok.
