What a great place. Awesome fresh cooked food and good drinks. Like the breakfast Al Lake Mexicana. Coffee is great.
Satifies a Texan. Most importantly, the food isn’t greasy, isn’t covered with cheese, and they have good salsa. We drive from Conway just to get some mexican food here. I love that they have breakfast tacos, which were a staple for me in Austin. My husband is the adventurous eater and he’s liked everything he’s ordered. My favorite was the torta campechano, it is like a barbeque sandwich.
This place is FANTASTIC! I came with a group of four and we all got different types of burritos. The food was extremely authentic (and you’ll believe it wen you see only Hispanic people eating there), it smelled great, and the prices were great! We will surely be back!
Pre-cooked fajita meat and bagged chips. Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s a hole in the restaurant. I was very disappointed.
Doing it right.. This is a real Mexican restaurant. There are no frills here. There is no white cheese dip. There are no tortilla chips. The menus are (decent) photocopies. There is a grocery store attached. What they do serve is awesome Mexican food, prepared by Mexicans for Mexicans, and at a reasonable price. If the previous statement puts you off, or you’re worried about being the only (insert race other than hispanic) person in the place, don’t bother. You don’t deserve this food. High points for me are the MILANESA, lengua, al pastor, breakfast burritos, and carnitas. Come to think of it, I’ve never had a bad or mediocre meal here since this restaurant opened.
This was awful Mexican food! All the meat was extremely dehydrated and I had a tamale that looked like it was a week old. If you want good Mexican in this area go a couple blocks down the street to Las Delicias. They also have a store connected to it.
Best authentic Mexican restaurant…bar none! Restaurant is connected to Mexican store with sweet bread and deli with fresh ground chorizo. Steak burrito is the best! Will not be disappointed.
