Military discount 10% on Mondays with ID. Service was courteous and prompt. I had beef brisket nachos, which were nachos with melted chz and brisket with a side of sour cream. I was expecting maybe lettuce and tomato on it or salsa ??? I added 2 bone rib. Dry rub was taste. I do wish they had better side elections though . My definition of better is okra and either French fries or onion rings.
Somehow this whole hog just doesn’t measure up after you’ve been to the whole hog on Cantrell. The sauces taste completely different, and not for the better. Sometimes ignorance is bliss and if wouldn’t have known any better this whole hog would probably be rated much higher.
We have been going to Whole Hog for years! My boyfriend is a BBQ Addict and take it from me when he says it’s great it indeed IS! We love the sauce so much we have them at home and put them on all kinds of thing! Their pulled pork and ribs are really exceptional. The atmosphere is comfortable and well appointed with PIGS everywhere! Their staff is friendly and courteous. We will continue to go back again & again! Whether it is a weeknight or Saturday afternoon always feel at home.
I’ve been to many BBQ places around the central Arkansas area, but this is my absolute favorite! I haven’t had a bad experience there yet. I always have gotten my food quickly and don’t forget to order their potato salad…..it is awesome!
Overrated comes to mind. Overpriced with below average bbq sauces. Try sims bbq or elsewhere instead
My coworker suggested this place that he’d been to last time he was in town (neither of us are local). I got a pulled chicken sandwich, and it was dry w/o the sauce. When I mentioned this he said that his was dry too, but better than last time (which made me wonder why he suggested it). Not very dry, but it definitely needed sauce. Not a must have.
Wow….. I’m actually eating here as I type this place is wonderful. I got the whole hog plater to sample everythingeverything ribs pork and beef was absolutely delicious baked beans are some of the beat I’ve ever had good choice of sauces gotta go need to finish eating my mouth is watering.
