The Bonefish Grill was immaculately clean and the staff delivered very professional 5 star service with an upscale feel to the entire place. The food was delicious and very well prepared and presented. First to hit our table was our drinks. My drink was a plain Jane gin and tonic and was good but the Espresso Martini my wife ordered was surprisingly tasty! Our appetizers consisted of the Fried Calamari as well as the Wagyu Potstickers. Both were delicious although I did not care for the sauce that accompanied the potstickers. Our main courses were the Ahi Tuna with the Pan Asian sauce and my wife had the Filet Mignon and shrimp. Her steak and shrimp were cook to her liking but my Tuna was slightly overdone but excited the taste buds non the less. The Creme Brulee was divine!
Impressive seafood especially for a chain. I had dined at one other Bonefish before in Texas but it wasnt as upscale feeling as this one. Busy on a Friday night we had about a 25 minute wait for a table. The staff was great and I was impressed by a server from a nearby table checking on us when it looked like we hadnt been served. Our server did a terrific job thou we had a longer than comfortable wait between our appetizer and entres she did apologize and kept us apprised. The calamari, tilapia and swordfish were all quite good and well prepared but the sides could use work especially the Premium crab fried rice. Bonefish reminded me of the nearby Crabbys in many ways. In reality Id probably give BF a 3.9 and Crabbys a 4.1 thou both of these nice upscale seafood restaurants need to reevaluate their music choices considering the clientele they draw.
We’ve eaten here a couple of times now and it has been fantastic on all occasions. Great calm atmosphere to the place. Not hectic or trying to rush you through your meal. It’s a popular place so either call ahead or be prepared to wait for a little bit. The Chilean Sea Bass is a must have at least once. They cook it perfectly and it is absolutely delicious. Another must try is the Bang Bang Shrimp. My wife cannot stand to eat shrimp, but absolutely loves this appetizer. The shrimp are cooked just right and the breading and sauce are also scrumptious. My wife keeps getting the Salmon because she likes it so much and because it’s a safe bet for her. She knows it’s going to be good with the lemon garlic butter sauce. I got the scallops and shrimp this time around. The scallops were tender and juicy; not chewy or over cooked at all. The shrimp were also prepared well and both paired extremely well with the Pan Asian sauce. You can’t go wrong with any of the desert options, but the cheesecake is one of our favorites. If you live in NWA and haven’t been here then you need to give it a try!
Decided to give Bonefish Grill a try tonight again. Only because I got a gift certificate from my boss. Again I was disappointed. We ordered the Calmari as an appetizer. Had to return it because it was so salty. Replaced it with the coconut shrimp. Wasn’t too bad. I ordered the filet with grill shrimp scampi. The shrimp was good, but the steak was not a filet, but a sirloin. My daughter ordered the clam chowder. It had a funny after taste, and she didn’t finish it. My wife’s meal was okay, but she had issues with it when she got home. This will be the last time we will frequent Bonefish. Overrated and overpriced!!!
NWA Food Critic Undercover. If your looking for a nice quite dining experience this is not the place. The food was good but it was very crowded and the tables are so close together that the wait staff and other patrons bump you as they move back and forth.
Had Christmas Eve dinner with family. This place has really tanked! Fish was over done & cold! Not worth 25$ much less 360!!
Hideous service. National management needs to be aware this place exists.
